What’s Couturial?

Hello! I’m Francesca.

I’ve always been drawn to fashion, especially by the way models look so stunning in those beautiful clothes. I’ve always wanted to be a model myself, and I’ve always been fascinated by the world of fame and all the glamour that comes with it.

Couturial started as my way of diving deeper into that world. I didn’t know much about the iconic maisons or their legacies at first, but I wanted to learn. So I started researching, watching shows, and digging into everything I could.

This blog is my evolving guide, a space where I document what I learn updating it as I go, from the rich histories of iconic brands to the latest runway shows.

For now, you’ll find these main sections:

• History: An exploration of fashion's most iconic brands, their legendary pieces, and the influential people who shaped them. I thought it was important to start learning from their story.

• Blog: This is the more spontaneous space. I'll be posting about what’s happening in the fashion world, what I’m learning, or simply what catches my eye. Think trends, thoughts, inspo, industry news, and maybe even the occasional runway review. It’s a little mix of everything I find interesting as I dive deeper into fashion.

• Fashion Shows Calendar: A schedule of the latest fashion shows, with downloadable links for Google Calendar or similar, so you can keep up with all the big events!
